Metal was delivered!

Today, I delivered the metal to the cutter. This means, in about 2 weeks I will have a ton of picks to finish.
I plan to close the survey when I get the picks back (there will be another announcement). Currently, there are 24 surveys that have not been answered. If you need me to resend you one, I can. Just let me know.
Things have gone smoothly so far, we are still looking at a timely delivery :).

Woohoo, 100 pounds of metal arrived on my doorstep last night. It is now in my trunk and shall be delivered to the cutter Monday.
Then I expect 2 weeks for the metal to be cut then I will finish them as fast as possible and ship em to ya ;).

Tensors explained

I was asked about the tensors and I realized... I never explained thebtypes I have on Backerkit...
There are 3 sizes of wrench on the list... small medium and large. These fit different size keyways. If you just want one, go with medium... id suggest small before large (many padlocks require small, only odd or old locks require large)
You will know which size to use when you start putting them in locks. If its too small itll spin around and not bind in the keyway, if its too big itll either take up too much space(no room for the pick) or not fit at all.
The twistflex is good because it allows the metal to flex which means (for a new person) they can apply too much pressure and still successfully open the lock. The Z shapes wrenches dont flex but have a long and short end. This allows you to use top of keyway tension which helps open many locks.
I prefer the Z shape because I like a more rigid wrench and top of keyway tension, but until you try them all... you dont know what you like.

I got the metal quote and placed the order today. They wanted 50% up front so that has been payed. Expect 1 week processing then 1 week shipping (at most)
I made the surveys. I must test them and go through some other processing steps with backerkit. You can expect to see these come out this week :)
You will be able to add on or up your pledges. There is also a late pledge system so if you have any friends that may be interested, they can check it out ;)
